About SCC Pathfinders

Welcome to SCC Pathfinders, the premier youth program offered by SuperSonic Graphic & Web Design in the Southern California Conference! We are passionate about empowering young individuals to explore their potential and become leaders in their communities. Through a combination of exciting activities, skill-building workshops, and meaningful experiences, we aim to inspire and equip the next generation with essential life skills.

If you are a young individual residing in Southern California and have a keen interest in computers, electronics, technology, and design, then SCC Pathfinders is the perfect program for you! Joining our program provides numerous benefits, including:

Our Program Curriculum

At SCC Pathfinders, we have meticulously designed a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that covers a wide range of topics essential to become successful in the field of graphics, multimedia, and web design. Our curriculum includes:

Introduction to Graphic Design

In this module, we provide a solid foundation in graphic design principles and techniques. You will learn about color theory, typography, composition, image manipulation, and more. Through hands-on projects, you will develop your creative skills and gain practical experience using industry-standard design software.

Exploring Multimedia Creation

This module focuses on multimedia creation, including audio and video production. You will gain a deep understanding of multimedia elements, storytelling, editing techniques, and post-production processes. By working on various projects, you will enhance your multimedia creation abilities and sharpen your artistic vision.

Web Design Fundamentals

In this module, we delve into the fundamentals of web design. You will learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, the building blocks of modern websites. Through practical exercises, you will develop the skills to create visually appealing and user-friendly web interfaces. Additionally, you will understand the importance of responsive design and accessibility.

User Experience and Interface Design

This module focuses on designing effective user experiences and interfaces. Advanced Topics in Design
